About the Father's Day 8K:
The 6th annual Father's Day 8K will be run on a flat and fast out-and-back course along the C&O Canal Towpath. The first 300 participants will be provided a technical race shirt, and awards will be given out at the post-race celebration to the top 3 M/F overall, the top M/F in each 10-year age group, and the top Father-Son and Father-Daughter teams. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to enter the father-child team competitions. There will also be a Kid's Kilometer Fun Run just after the race start. All children must be entered using a registration form with a parent's or guardian's signature.
Note: The course is slightly different than past years, with the start/finish lines moved slightly west along the towpath
After the race, enjoy refreshments from our featured sponsors. Awards will be given out, and the Men's Health Week Campaign will provide useful information.
